Hot Chocolate
Can the Hot Chocolate/Cocoa lovers recommend the best Hot Chocolate out there to have. It's for Breakfast. I've tried the Maltesers(sp?) one but didn't think much of it.
Thank you. |

I don't have this kind of thing much but Green & Black's do one that is incredible - well worth the cash!

Milk, chocolate, cocoa
Pour some milk into pan, break a few chunks of chocolate and couple of tsp of cocoa. Stir or whisk as it heats and melts. Maybe even add some cream if you've some. And (though not for breakfast) some whiskey or baileys ![]()

Get yourself Droste cocoa powder, follow the basic recipe on the packet and add a pinch of salt and cinnamon.
Also check out the Aldi cocoa. It's good. |

Aldi also sell an instant hot chocolate in DARK chocolate flavour. It's delicious! Just look for the one in the red topped jar.

Thanks for all the recommendations, I will definitely try the Aldi one.
I'm not a fan of ordering off the internet so try to keep it to just dvds and so on. I would mostly like recommendations available in the supermarkets or high street shops. Especially of the thick variety of hot chocolate. ![]() I would love to make it via melting but don't have time most mornings, so adding just water or whatever for me. |

I had stuff called Chocolava, it was really thick! Got it in Tesco. Prefer Whittards tho!

You can find Charbonnel in Sainsburys and it's delish - it's just grated chocolate that you dissolve in milk - it's not too sweet but very rich which is how I like it.

http://www.kshocolat.co.uk/index.php...-gift-tin.html <-- best hot chocolate I've ever had. They do a dark one too, but I'm not as keen on that one.

Try grating it.
Or just buy a tin of charbonnel. |

Best hot chocolate I've ever tasted was at Ljubljana airport - thick and luscious.

Waitrose also sell tubes of grated belgian chocolate for hot choc - it's sooooo yum. Exactly how it should be none, of this instant just add water stuff. Yeuch!
