Dragon Card & Manual Scan Queries
Cynderyn

Hi all

I purchased a Dragon 4.1 CAM put into Humax-HDR CI slot with my sky card inserted then navigated to CI menu and went into firmware (Preditor 3.69)

I went into NDS settings and noted the number original (10 digits) went to modify number to SKY box number as advised by forums members and found although I could enter the number by overtyping the number of on screen digits boxes (6)

Is this normal ?
Is this bug in the Preditor Firmware ?
Is this a bug in the Humax-HDR Firmware?

It accepted the number and after doaing a manual scan (ALL) (NDS) I can now read ALL my Sky channels

However I noted that I seem to have a number of duplicate entries for Channel 4 and some others

Also I noted that also had several channels identified as unknown.

Can I remove or filter these unwanted entries to clean up the channel list?

Finally is there a way to save free-sat results and manual scan results and then switch quickly between them modes

You have probably found the regional variations of C4. You can delete any channels that you don't want. All you can do with non Freesat channels is change them into a more convenient sequence. Tediously the HDR has two modes 'Freesat' and 'non Freesat'. You have to keep switching modes if you want to alternate between the these two types, and remember that the Freesat recording schedule will be ignored in Non Freesat mode.
