Once again, this is a full recap so DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED!!!

First, tonight Ryan is looking like a regular dude you pass by walking in the street or something. Another thing, after some bad performances the judges will say U Can Sing though, shouldn't they all be able to sing by now, why the f*** do yawll put them through if they can't sing.

Jasmine Murray - Love Song - Sara Bareilles - 16 year old very pitchy, voice was kind of all over the place. Simon says she should've waited a couple years before entering well that makes u think why they pick her anyway and not the other 16 year old we all liked LENESHA. Anyway, honestly Jasmine has the looks and the star presence, if she had a great voice she would've won this season hands down.

Matt Giraud - Viva La Vida - Coldplay - wrong song choice for him, he should stick to more soulful/r&b type of songs. The judges didn't like his performance but they kept pandering for people to vote for him. In his intro, they also showed a lot of his audition from Hollywood. I don't like how they are giving extra attention to people they want to be in the top 12, it seems wrong. Like the producers are trying to forcefeed us the ppl they want us to vote for like we so stupid or something.

Jeanine Vailes - Maroon 5 - This Love - again wrong song choice, this girl they have never shown even a snippet of her singing. The judges didn't even talk about her voice just her legs which looked good by the way. If u can't sing, show your Got Damn Legs!!!

Nick/Norman - And I Am Telling U - Jennifer Holiday - Yep Nick in crazy getup hamming it all up! They called it entertaining, I called it stupid. At least the last time he sang it, it sounded decent, this time he sounded like sh**. It was funny to them it was stupid to me. As Forrest Gump would say "Stupid is as Stupid Does!" See Ya Nick/Norman, u gave us laughs, well not me but u gave other people laughs.

Alison Iraheta - Alone - Heart - it was good, not great but the judges clearly want her to go through because they keep saying she's the one to watch. Alright judges, she's going to be the one the watch to go home. LOL. She sounded decent so she might make it through.

Kris Allen - Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson - good voice, good looks - I wish he would've chosen a different song. With ppl like Adam and Matt who've they've pimped the hell out of, I don't see Kris making it.

Megan Corkney - Put Your Record On - Corrine Bailey Rae - good song choice for her but the voice wasn't there at all. She has a unique jazzy type of voice but I couldn't tell by the way she sang it. It was alright, but the verdict is still out on her.

Matt Breitzke - If U Could Only See - Tonic - Hell, I wish I couldn't see u perform this. Why would he choose this song, he signed his own death warrant! We already have the "Nice Guy" in Michael Sarver that Simon told us to vote for and Simon didn't say vote for u Matt, so bye! I hope you have enjoyed your time here, we have some lovely parting gifts for u.

Jessie Langesth - Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes - this is the best one I've heard - it wasn't exciting but still her voice is top notch. I luv how she sings, she would got my vote. Simon said she was forgettable hello half of these people are forgettable, hell I'm forgetting about them as I'm typing.

Kai Kalame - What Becomes of the Broken Hearted - Jimmy Rufford - once again these song choices are killing me; WTF are these ppl thinking with these song choices? no charisma, no nothing, this will be last time we see Kai Kalame which sucks cause I luv his name.

Mishovanna Henson - Drops of Jupiter - Train - Good voice, nothing special. I don't see any star potential in her in fact I don't see any star potential in most of these ppl. If I said something negative about somebody, I'm basically talking about the whole group like if I say someone was boring I'm basically talking about everybody, so she sucked ie everyone sucked. LOL

Adam Lambert - Satisfaction - Rolling Stones - of course he gets The Pimp Spot. He's wearing all black with his super dyed black hair looking like a GAY VAMPIRE!!! He was alright, the last note was really good. I'm not just into this emo creepy musical theater thing, but he's popular. He really didn't even have to perform and he still would've made the top 12.

The problem I have with this season that unlike other seasons these ppl don't have 3 chances to make the top 12, they only have 1 and u would think they would give the performance of their lives, but they don't. If I was on this show I would be doing backflips, cartwheels, anything to get into the top 12.

Next week, I guarantee u Lil Rounds will be in The Pimp Spot!!! My prediction for the top 3 vote getters...

Thanks for the recap! Some thoughts:

Nick/Normund: I was looking forward to him as I thought he might actually put in a serious performance and show what he can do. I was wrong. NEXT.

Alison Iraheta: Really good performance, very confident on-stage, and threw herself into the song. Probably the best female of the night. However, I'm not 100% sure how she'll do performing week after week, and I wonder if this could've been the best of her. Also, I think one of the reasons she was so impressive is that she was very shy in the interview, then came out and nailed the song, and obviously that impact's going to be lost when she's singing every week. Still, great performance and should be through. Looking forward to seeing what she can do in the final 12. The surprise of the night for me, like Alexis last week.

Megan Corkrey: my favourite from the auditions, so I was looking forward to seeing her. Mixed feelings about her performance - started off very well, seemed to push it too hard in the middle of the song and went off-key, but showed glimpses throughout of her potential. I feel the same way about her as I did after her audition: I'm intrigued and want to see more of her. Very interesting voice, and perhaps it's not a bad thing she hasn't quite shown what she can do yet. They clearly want her through (she got the 'I hope America votes for you' treatment from Simon, like Michael before her) and I think she'll be a shoe-in as a wild card if she doesn't get through tonight.

Jessie Langseth - another one I was looking forward to from the brief Hollywood clip, and I have to say I really liked her. She chose a song that could easily have been a disaster (Randy, just because it doesn't cover the widest range doesn't make it an easy song to sing; it's so repetitive it could've sounded awful if she'd sung it off-key) and she did a pretty good job. Another one with a unique voice, and bags of on-stage personality. Absolutely loved the fact she called Randy on one of his typically vague comments ("When you say you 'wanna see more' I think 'more...what?'" Ahahaha). Seems like an intelligent, down to earth girl. I want her to go through. I want her to be my friend. She's awesome.

Adam Lambert - Now, I think I'm a minority here, but on first viewing I didn't like this. I agreed with Simon that some of the notes at the end were spectacular, and as one of the women said (probably Kara, Paula was so out of it last night ) he has a great range, but I don't wanna be sitting there watching a performance and thinking, "Dude has a great range". I didn't connect with him and I don't think he connected with the song. It's as if, when he performs, he's saying "I'm a great singer! Look at me!" Perhaps I was expecting too much because of the build-up. The fact he was pimped the hell out of, like Danny Gokey, tends to put me off anyway. Still, best boy of the night and he will be, and should rightly be, a definite for the final 12.

Overall: much better than last week, with the girls out-singing the boys with the exception of Adam. I think Adam, Allison, and Megan/Jessie should go through, with the remaining girl going through to the final 12 on a wild card. However, I would be totally unsurprised if an undeserving male makes it, as happened last week.

I have to say I disagree - I thought Allison was fantastic. I hope her, Adam and Megan go through, though I have a horrible feeling the guy who sang Viva La Vida will, which fairplay, was TERRIBLE.

According to DialIdol, Adam and Allison are certain to go through! Thats wonderful by me!

I thought Alison was excellent too, and I really didn't expect her to be. By the way, if the DialIdol result for third place is accurate, I shall be SERIOUSLY PISSED. Seriously. Hoping for fourth place to snatch it.

Oh, me too! I'd definitely rather 7th got it but discounted them because they're so low down, and 4th placed is my next favourite. Hopefully 7th will be through anyway on a wild card, I think they want them in the final 12...

Yes, very worrying DialIdol was so accurate last week - fourth placed wasn't quite so close then, though, so am hoping against hope 4th snatches it. If not, it'll show how much being pimped in the auditions makes a difference, because 3rd was CRAP!

I think 7th is a 100% certainty to make the top 12 through wildcard unless something goes horribly wrong, or of course, they go through tonight. I think it will be 7, Anoop and a girl from group 3, just so its 4 from each group.

There isnt much between 3rd and 4th tonight which is encouraging. I thought 3rd was the worst of the night!

BTW, I cant stand Adam Lamberts voice. I must be the only one. HE can sing really well, has great pitch and technique. But the sound of his voice is just very annoying to me. There is nothing you can do about it. BUt I am probably pretty alone in this.

Matt's Coldplay cover was horrible.
There were moments hen his voice reminded me of someone singing on casette tape while the tape gets chewed up by the machine!

Oh thank god! I mean to me the first thing about being a good singer, is the sound of your voice. How pleasant it is. His is not! To me it sounds awful. And it has nothing to do with the pitch or the technique, which seems perfect. It just doesnt sound good at all! I would never buy his album!

I'll join you - can't buy into the hype at all, and the vocal style and imagine jar far too much, which is grating on my nerves

Yes, he can sing, but do I want to listen to him doing it - not particularly.

Don't like Danny much either, mind you, decent voice, but that's all, if he didn't have a story he wouldn't be through and probably wouldn't have got passed the audition stage, exactly the same as X Factor Danny.

At least Danny's voice is easy on the ears. I can listen to him, it does sound good. The only knock on Danny is the overkill of the sob story, turns people off. BUt imo, he is pretty good. I do think his friend Jamar was better though. But Adam Lambert.....Just NO!!

Thank U, at least with Danny I can actually listen to him. I kind of been dissing Danny alot but when his voice is full on he's great, although Jamar was better than him but that's not the point.

With Adam, I just feel like he belongs on a broadway stage or something. Something about him and his whole style kind of goth emo musical theater thing going on and I'm not into it. Randy said Adam was current say what now I don't think Adam is relevant in the music industry right now but I could be wrong.

I think that Adam is more relevant than Danny.

Anyway I thought that Adam did great especially considering that he got told on Monday night that he had to change his song choice. So didn't have as long to get ready as the others did.

I'm hoping Dialidol is wrong about the third placer...

Hell yeah. That's what we were all saying above - if it's between 4th and 3rd place, I'm REALLY hoping 4th place snatches it. If 3rd place is right it only goes to show how much getting a starring spot in the audition/Hollywood stages makes a difference to the voting results!

I watched the 1st half my favourite was Alison but I do think Jasmine has potential but she was really pitchy and she over sang but overall not terrible.

I hope Dial Idol is wrong too.

I'm still jury out on Adam Lambert - he is a bit OTT but his pitch and range are out of this world. He's already less musical theatre than he was in his audition and hopefully it'll continue to erode a bit as he progresses (if he doesn't go through tonight along with Alison it'll be a travesty frankly - they were best tonight by a country mile!) And I can deal with the judges pimping him far more than I can Gokey - at least he's not milking a sob story for all he's worth.

I think Matt G is hideously overrated - I haven't heard one performance by him that I've liked so far. He reminds me a bit of Michael Johns last year - someone everyone raved about from day 1 who then got to top 24/36 and proved they weren't so great after all. I think Jasmine proved tonight that she's been pretty overrated too.

Love Megan - her voice is not pitch perfect but personally I don't think that really matters. I really like the tone and style she has. She's my fave contestant so far this season along with Anoop, even though she wasn't brilliant tonight - I'll be gutted if she goes out as well!

Adam was by far the best and he wasnt even close to his best, so i think he will definetly go straight through. Jasmine has great potential, her performance wasn't great but then other than Adam and Alison nobody was. So they will be the 3 to go through from what i can see. The only person i can really see challenging those 3 for a place in the top 12 is Matt Giraud.

I was really looking forward to seeing her tonight, and though it wasn't the best performance (what was with the twitchy dance moves ) you could see flashes of what she's capable of. Kara was absolutely right that she needs that one hit song to define her; I think she's one of those contestants that will need to adapt songs to her style. I think Simon wants her in the top 12, so I'd expect her to get through in the wild card round - here's hoping, anyway.

Agree with your other comments as well - I'm not getting the Matt G love at all! Particularly not from his group 2 performance. Based on that, he doesn't deserve to get through. One of the worst of the night...
