Why did Matt Giraud pick that song?
He already told us those are the type of songs he wants to sing disregarding the fact that they don't work well with his voice at all. Matt should really stick r&b/soul type of music considering how the vote went he did to himself just like Anoop, both of them should've played up to their strengths but they didn't and you saw what happened.
^ Did I miss something? Didn't he said he would be back at his piano/keyboard singing more soulful stuff if he gets through next week?

I am glad to find someone like me. Elliott Yamin is my favorite Idol of all time. I still rewatch his performances of season 5 to this day. He was amazing. Youre right, Matt, coulve gone that route. But its the flawed system. He was trying to stand out. Befor with top 12 guys only losing 2 in the 1st round, you could aord to just play to your strenght. Now you have to pull of a big one to get the top spot. I hate this system.
