Yesterday i was watching a program, and the program after it on the same channel was set to record.

During the first program i had to pause while i went to do something, and came back and continued to watch.

At the time the second program was starting (i had paused for about 5 mins) the program i was watching suddenly stopped and went back to live broadcast. I didn't want to miss the end of the previous program so tried to skip back but it did nothing. Tried to rewind but also did nothing.

The only way i could get it to go back was to stop the current recording of this second program and then rewind.

I didn't have anything else recording on any other channel either so i really don't understand this.

Was it just a mistake, or is this a problem with the Humax+?

I've just tried this and yes i does appear to be a limitation of the Humax+... I guess the only other thing you could have done is wait until the recording finished on its own and then rewound the buffer, as long as the missed portion and the recorded portion didn't exceed the 2 hour buffer.

Thats true. But that will get annoying. I will have to plan ahead next time and record the show i am watching then stop it and just watch the rest of the recording later.

Its a shame though, hopefully they will sort some of the glitches out soon.

Indeed the safest bet would be to record everything we watched but my suggestion was for anyone who found themselves in this position and didn't want to forfeit their scheduled recording as you yourself did
