There's quite a few I like from group three, so potentially some of them too.

I think it's fairer if it's only top 36 contestants that are given a second chance, as if someone was good enough they would have made it through on the first place. However, if contestants outside the top 36 are eligible, then Jamar is the obvious choice.

The only name I can remember is Mishavonna. Hope she gets through.

I would say Jesse and Mishavonna from group 2.

If I was thinking conspiricy I would say that Jamar was deliberately left out to make him more popular and a definate to get through as a wildcard. Not that Simon would manipulate the public at all

The wildcards are only going to be chosen from those in the last 36 who were not voted through by the public.


My choices would be:

from show 1, Ricky (I don't get Anoop);

from show 2, Kai, Jesse (why does she spell her name the boys' way), Megan and Mishavonna.


My dream ........................... same old same old Lou isn't voted through on the last show, gets a wildcard then isn't voted through anyway. I just can't bear the formula that she is a product of.

I read that the judges can pick anyone and not just from the final 36. I can't remember whether it was on here or not but it was a quote from the producers.

I dont think they'll do it from outside the top 36.. if any old old Idol fans remember, Carmen Rasmusen from season 2 was essentially in this position - missed out on the semis, and then was a succesful wildcard... and then she was pretty dire and stayed on for ages. I dont think they invited any eliminated before top 50 contestants back the next year, and then the year after they changed the format.

Hmm, definately Megan Corkey and Matt Giraud, I'd also like to see Tatiana Del Toro and Casey Carlson. From outside of the top 36 I'd love to see Emily Hughes, Rose Flack and Jamar (don't know his second name ). And just incase she doesn't get through I'd like to throw Kristen McNamara into the mix for next week. I think for fairness sake there should be 6 out of the remains of the top 36 and 3 from outside the compeition. So 2 from each round.
