Now THAT'S a good shout !! I'd love to see him do some Alice Cooper ( but without the gurning I saw tonight )

The best three went through, we called it right in our house, (we got last week a bit wrong!) though we agreed with Simon that Adam gave a very mixed performance, impressive but not nice to listen to, he has to reign in his voice and not shout or shriek.

Most of the others were terrible. They did indeed choose the wrong songs. If you can't pick the right songs you cannot have a career. People always say 'you could sing the phone book' or 'Judi Dench could recite the phone book' meaning we'd hear them do anything, but that's not true. If you don't write or get hold of the best songs or pick the right parts or movies you cannot sustain a career. Being a good picker is part of the required talent.

I enjoyed Kara wriggling over getting Kriss wrong last night and Simon goading her about it. She's a great judge but she's over-confident about her own opinion which does not reflect public taste all the time. She needs to take into account that most of them will be hugely nervous at this stage and at the start of the next stage, which will once again knock a few good ones out who can't transfer to the huge arena.

I'm really not getting this Adam love at all, I feel lost as to what people really like. I know he performs but then again so does Nick/Norman. He was all over the place, up and down left and right. I just didn't get him, the high notes seemed like he was screaming, the notes seemed wobbly. As you can see i'm not keen on him.

I quite like Allison and Kris though. Was hoping maybe Megan would get a second shot.

Really pleased for Adam and Allison.

Not so much about Kris. But every top 12 seems to have an average, pretty boy lately.

Im mostly worried about the top 12 being totally male dominated. So far the men are getting the third places, and to be honest, im not sure if either of them (Michael or Kris) totally deserved it.

I would totally have swapped either of them for any of Jesse, Mishavonna, Megan, Ann Marie, Jackie or even Jasmine who was disapointing, but is clearly better than her performance this week. Its quite frustrating seeing so many talented females go out to men who are inferior yet likeable.

That said Adam, Allison, Alexis = <3<3<3 All the A's lol

sorry but for once i completely disagreed with simon he didnt nail it it wasnt special and how many times have they told them not to toucha mj song? i though it was whiney and awful and no idea how he go through

I feel both groups so far have not sung their best in this round. As Duncann above said, they chose the wrong songs. They are trying too hard in some cases, and it's working against them.

I thought Allison was amazing - totally love the song - Alone - as well.

I have a feeling she could be the AI winner - thats how good I thought she was. Be interesting to see what her song choice is in future.

I agree, but she could also crash because of lack of experience, although the under-eighteen have the advantage of being allowed their parent/guardian with them. Last year, David Archuleta had his Dad and his own voice coach with him.. so when the pressure becomes intense, in the latest stages of the show, it's a big advantage...
But she is good.
