Scooter! Tie your shoes!
I can see me getting soooo flamed for this, and I'm scared, but oh well...
Does anyone here like scooter? I absolutely love them, and for some strange reason, I have enourmous(sp) respect for them, and I don't know why. Although they get a slagging for doing the worst ever Supertramp cover (and I agree on this one), I still see them as a decent group. Prehaps it's just the pure randomness of H.P's comments, or they fact they're so cheesy - but I can't get enough! But there's more to them than just high pitched singing and crazy lyrics. They've done a few decent and respectable techno/trance songs, such as Rhapsody In E, Stuttgart and Soultrain. And there's tracks that really make you feel good, like Endless Summer. So take the piss all you want, but I love em. (And I have the DVD )

I despise happy hardcore on the basis that its braindead influence washed over my beloved trance at the back end of the year 2000 and turned Gatecrasher into a hard house muppet zone. Scooter has come from that godawful scene, and therefore should be napalmed. RockToTheBeatRockToTheBeatRockToTheBeatRockToThe...*BLAM*BLAM*BLAM*BLAM*BLAM*BLAM*BLAM* |

Scooter are absolute crap! Their tracks are always the same, with that guy always yelling over them! How anyone can listen to that trash I don't know! A friend of mine said that their Greatest Hits album would be good-"It'd be blank!" he joked! Touche!

I have all their albums and the DVD and I am waiting for the new single Jigga Jigga to be released in the begining of December so that I can listen to it over xmas. No I am not joking , The Logical Song started it all off for me...it wasnt until then that I looked them up a realised they had been producing music for almost 10 years as Scooter . H.P ( The one who yells). and Rick go back further together than that to the new age group Celebrate the Nun in the 80s. All I can say to the critics is each to there own.....I love Scooter and by the amount of albums they have sold in Europe I am not alone. |

Originally posted by Pingu I remember Scooter from back in 1996, when they released a song called "Back In The UK" which was quite amusing, they also did a cover of "Rebel Yell". Was quite surprised to see them back with The Logical Song, as I thought they were pretty much late-90s type stuff, but its still enjoyable in a way.Yep, I was exactly the same.
