I’ve already bought tickets for both events and I’m Soooo HAPPY, I just had to tell everybody. I’ve just discovered the Danceclub2000 website in Manchester, they are putting on Ian & Camilla on 2 May and James & Ola on 6 June.

Check out Danceclub2000.co.uk.

Love

Hi Strictly Ros,

One or two of us over on Planet Waite are thinking of going to this. Why not pop in and see what's going on?

Have you found the http://www.strictlydancers.com/ web site yet?

Hi SilverBird

I'm really looking forward seeing Ian and Camilla, last night went to see James and Ola - OMG his waist is so trim, they were great, they spent ages after the demo talking to people. Can't waite to see them again at Radcliffe. I will visit Planet Waite tomorrow as I am off dancing tonight.

Love

Ros

If you are going to the May 2 Strictly Showdance event with Ian & Camilla check out the Radcliffe Dance Off competition.

Radcliffe is next door to Prestwich and should make for a great days dancing entertainment.

OMG these three weeks are going to be longest three weeks ever for me. I am going to bed early and getting up later to make it go faster.

Has anybody got any "make time fly" ideas????

Straight from the horses mouth!

I have just spoken to the Alan at Danceclub2000 and I can confirm the following dance and dance order for the night: American smooth, Tango, Samba, Cha Cha and will finish the night off with the Rumba (Oh yes!!).

Then the winners of the Radcliffe dance off will strut their stuff and Ian and Camilla will present the prizes.

Can’t wait.

Wow! Thanks for that. I'm even more excited now, if that's possible. I sooo hope it will be the Rumba from the MOD. If it is, we will need loads of tissue for some of the Angels!

I thought I would give you a quick snapshot of Prestwich:

Don’ts

Park you car on the white line or over them in the car parks (desperate car park attendants).

Frequent the Fairfax pub in the Longfield centre precinct (undesirable elements).

Do’s

Visit the Church Inn for liquid refreshments and food, on Church lane and visit St Mary’s Church next door. It is where the Coronation Street Church scenes are shot you can also take in Prestwich Clough.

Take in the Radcliffe Dance off.

If you fancy a brief encounter we have the East Lancashire Railway with real steam choo-choos.

Take a look at the Wikipedia page on Prestwich. The Longfield Suite is just visible to the right of the Radius development.

I’m sure there is something else – oh yes don’t forget Ian and Camilla at the Danceclub2000!

Here endeth the Prestwich Tourist Information Guide.
