42" Plasma System for £1999

Currys/Dixons have a 42" Plasma complete with decent sound system and tuner for a retail price of £1999. It will have been sourced from one of the few suppliers who mass produce these and badged for them.

The product is badged Techwood and is well spec'd and delivered direct.

If anybody has any information about this product please let us all know as it seems to be a price leader in a very popular product sector.

Would you buy a £200 28" widescreen TV?

If the answer is no do not buy this!

It is as good as the new LG and probably other £3000 42" plasmas. But for £3500 you can get the Hitachi. And for £4000 you can get the Pioneer with a DVD recorder in Bennetts.Or the Panasonic,or the Sony.

Cheap is not good in my opinion!
