Unfortunately there are several astra satallites and even with a 2m dish the only ones I'll be able to receive do not carry the BBC channels.

Already investigated.

I even looked into tvcatchup with a VPN but you can't rely on tvcatchup to actually be working.

My Husband did it for me and I have no idea how he did it, he is very techie! He got it from the DW website, the series 2 sound clips. The man is an absolute genius - I think he did it just to see the look on my face when he rang my phone!!! like this but bigger!!!!!!

Only problem is, how the hell am I going to get the BBC out there? I move before the next special. I can't wait for DVD releases, I'd have to avoid everything on the forum.....

that sounds fabulouso! awwww.........Weedle want it!! *stamps foot*

A little while ago, the Weedlettes downloaded software called "Goldwave" that allowed you to import song tracks etc and "fiddle about" with them........merge song tracks together etc and save it as a playback file.......they had a good time playing about with CDs etc, doing their own Fatboy Slim & DJ Smashie recordings

I wonder if it would work with a DVD??

extract that "bit", save it as a file and then copy it to your 'phone??

shame their free trial is up *sigh*

ask him how he did it please cos I is ded jellus.....

I wants DT to talk to me as well

On the upside I have another reason to know your a Who Fan... When the advert for that new Panasonic Lumix camera comes on TV and you can't help thinking I don't care how good it is, it sounds just a bit too much like Lumic and look where buying stuff from him got parallel earth

By the way for all of you wanting any doctor who talking on your phone download this

http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/guides/d...ube-to-MP3.htm

it downloads and converts any you tube clip into an mp3

once you have a few mp3 files tha you wanna turn into a ring tone then dpwnload and use a simple music editing programme and its as simple as cutting and pasting your sound clips in the order you want them, the better you are with computers the better it'll turn out but its all free software so its worth a try.

PS the Doctors speech from VOTD is a good message tone

You discuss Doctor Who with an anonymous person on the internet and you are genuinely shocked when they admit they don't watch "new who".

You try to type the link www.dailyexamineronline.co.uk which appeared in Sound of Drums and find no such site exists.

When you write much nicer things about a student in his end of term report than what he should have had just because you know he is a DW fan too !
