Bought a foxsat-DR on Saturday and it keeps locking up I have tried a factory reset a few times but still locking, is this a common fault with this model? Will i be wasting my time taking it back for a replacement

I wouldn't say it's a common problem, but there have been some reports of it happening. As it's brand new, it's probably well worth taking it back for a replacement. Most people have not reported this problem.

There is a possibility that there is nothing wrong with the box hardware, but something about your setup which the software doesn't like - the TV you have it connected to, the post code you used, who knows. If your replacement box has the same problem, please report it here with as much detail as you can. It might help track down an elusive software problem. But, chances are that it's a hardware fault and you'll be smiling.

Good luck.

I had a lockup on Saturday night that required me to pull the plug. It's the first one though.
