How to charge my camera in the U.S.?

I have a Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 which uses a lithium battery and can't find any info in the manual whether I could charge it in America just using a simple travel adaptor plug. The power supply says the input is between 100-240v so since they use 110v in the U.S. would it be safe to assume it will still charge using the travel adaptor?

Yes it will be fine. The travel plug with convert the voltage from 240 into 110. The power supply input means that you could plug in a US charger for your camera and it would still work fine.

The travel adapter will probably only convert the plug format. I seriously doubt it will do any voltage conversion. But since the charger is rated 100-240V then that is perfectly OK.

If the power supply has a detachable mains lead you may be able to get a suitable lead with a US style mains plug which would do away with the adapter.
