SCD 2010 tour tickets already on sale

I was just browsing the MEN arena website (manchester) and noticed that there are tickets on sale for the 2010 tour.
There are some pretty good seats still available. Its a pity you wont know who you are seeing though.
Do you think this is too soon or a good opportunity to get in fast and get the best seats?

Louise - just wanted to say thank you for being kind enough to come on and share your findings with us all.

A lot of people including myself HAVE already bought our tickets for next year, but it was really nice of you to share.

Thanks again.

Really really want to go to see the tour as was ill for the entire duration of 2008/2009 tour so couldn't go. But the tickets are so expensive!! Well, not that expensive but it is for someone that has been off work since August!! lol!!

Hi

I'd definately go - I have always paid extra for the gold circle seats, which are two rows of seats directly next to the dance floor, as you will enjoy it more when you sit right close to the dance floor! you get eye contact with the dancers/celebs, I would also recommend seats in the first blocks at the sides, as long as you were near the front of the block so to speak! It is a lot of money to pay but is so worth it - I have enjoyed both times I have been to Sheffield and am going again in Jan 2010. The dresses look so much more sparkly than on the tv and if you love the show like I do, you'll be able to see some of your fave routines from the show re-created.
The programmes I thought were dear, but the actual show and experience is great and the fact that each tour you get a mix of celebs taking part from different series is good.

I only bought my ticket 3 days before I went this year, and that was partly because I really enjoyed all the chat on here, and wanted to see for myself

So I thought I might book up early for next year, but by the time I realised the tickets were on sale, the best ones looked as though they were sold already.

So now I might just wait until I see who's going to be on tour and then take my chances.

I went to Nottingham this year but didn't book til the last minute so ended up right on the very back row It was still fabulous though! But for next year I logged on the minute the tickets went on sale and bought Gold Circle tickets, managed to get block RA which is on the lefthand side as you look at the dance floor, row A seats 3 and 4 - can anyone confirm if these seats will be closer to the stage, or will they be at the other end of the row?

We've booked for the O2 for 2010 already too - hoorah!

If you don't get tickets as soon as they go on sale it's worth checking on the website regularly as tickets often become available at later dates - returns etc. I went to one of the O2 shows this year, I only got my tickets in January and we managed to get them just 11 rows back! I just checked Ticketmaster every couple of days to see what their best tickets were.
