Can partition be removed from HD?

Hi,

Is it possible to remove the partition from the HD so it can be used soley for TV recordings, and if so how do I go about it.

You do not own the partition or the extra capacity on the HDD. Sky HD T&C's, Ownership of the equipment, para 3.1 explanes
