I reckon Rikky should definitely make it considering his vocal was quite a bit better than Danny's on the night of their respective performances.

Man I hate this format. I mean, look at Junot Joyner. He was amazing, yet, he gets no shot at the top 12. Its really ridiculous.

But lets move on. I am thinking Anoop is a sure thing. Between Ricky and Megan, the judges will put in one of them. But I really want Jesse to get a wildcard, but seeing how much the judges seem to lke Jasmine, I wouldnt be surprised, if she sings just OK, she will probably make it through.

I am still wondering why Von was picked over Ju'not...

Did they announce this on the show. You know. I'm so surprised to see Jasmine Murray in there. I think there are a LOT better females who didn't get through than Jasmine. How about Mishavonna, or Kristen Macnamara.

Hmmm.... very suss!

I'm surprised they didn't wildcard Ju'Not either. He was good!

And surely there's space for 4 more. 8 WCs is small. HOwever, I do think they already know who they want. Unless they BOMB!

I'm sorry to not see Ju'not in the potential wioldcard list, as well as Mishovanna and Kristin, though I understand they need to have the right lineup overall..
Tatiana could be interesting. She is annoying, but I can't help but kind of like her, and she is a reasonably good singer.

I have no idea, Ju'not was interesting and potentially very good, Von sounded like a boyband reject And no Mishavonna who gave a decent performance and deserved another chance - Jeez, I hate this format (but pleased Lil did make it)

I wanted Mishavonna to go through too.

And as for Tatiana - this makes a mockery of the show. If she gets through I don't think I'll be able to watch any more

I'm already hanging by a thread this year, I have precisely one person I find vaguely interesting, this stage last year I liked 8/9 out of the top 12, Tatiana might just finish me off altogether

I am surprised about Von as a wildcard, but wouldn't be surprised at all if Tatiana went through...

So far we have 6 boys and 3 girls in top 12, will they pick any boy at all for top 12?

I also had loads last year, and very few this year but so far we haven't a lot of singing from any of them. At best small snippets from auditions and Hollywood, and one live performance. At the same time last year we already had three live performances.

Can I ask who that person is?

I like Adam and Danny but I don't feel anywhere near as strongly as I did about David Cook last year.

I quite like Lil, and that's about it

Danny just doesn't do it for me, and I'm still convinced without his back story he wouldn't be there (same goes for Scott BTW)

Adam is oversinging, if he reigns it in a bit, and tones down the 'I'm a rocker really, honest' performance I might warm to him, but can't see it at the moment.

Although I will confess, it's not helping that I'm comparing everyone to David I miss season 7

I have to say that last year I listend to David Cook's songs forever, and also to some of Jason, Brooke, Michael and Carly, but this year so far there is nothing for me to play over and over again..

Im half and half on this list... I think some of them really deserve to be there, and others not so much. I wish Mishavonna or Kristen were there instead of Jasmine - I thought Kristen was absolutely amazing this week.

I'm happy with last night's results....esp. seeing Jorge get through!
Also pretty happy with the Wild Card slots but I want Anoop, Ricky and Matt G to make it through and I can't see the judges picking 3 guys. Should be an interesting show!

I hate this format, although glad Ricky has another shot, he won't make it, I predit Annop, Tatinia and Megan. I would love Ricky to go through but I think they are going to go with the personalities and not talent, damn

Jasmine was the big surprise of the wild cards for me, too. Someone on the official forums said they'd be very surprised if the judges didn't use the wild cards to even up the number of minority contestants in the top 12, which is something I hadn't even thought of, but it would certainly make sense as to why Jasmine's there above singers who performed much better.

If she goes through on the strength of that, it'll be a bit depressing...

Had to go back and remind myself who Jasmine was, unfortunately that can be the only reason I can see for putting her through, the girls, in general have been weak, but there were lots better then her and more deserving of a second shot

The wildcard picks are the judges' choice, so it's not a question of votes. I'm at a loss as to what great potential they see in Von, unless they've deliberately aired only really, really bad performances of his and are waiting to show what a wonderful performer he is.

Either that or they figure that if they put a few not-so-good performers in the mix, then we're more likely to vote for the female that they really want to go through.

I thought I quite liked his first audition, however, having heard him since, and rewatched the audition, I realise a more accurate statement was 'I quite liked the hat he wore in his first audition.'

I can't see any argument for Von or Jasmine as wildcards

I guessed Jasmine would go through

She wont make the top 12

It will be Megan, Rikky and Tat/Anoop/Matt

No way will it be Jasmine , Jesse, or Von

The judges have seen more of them than we have. I vaguely remember that I thought that Jasmine was good as some point.. and I think that Simon really liked her before the semi-finals. Not sure about Von..
