STREAM podcasts with Zune

Yep, you read that right. You can stream the podcasts available in the Zune catalogue (pretty much the same content as iTunes) here:
http://social.zune.net/podcasts/

I think that's pretty nifty myself.

Is it definitely coming this year now?

They've been saying there'll be a European launch "later this year" since 2006, and it never shows up.

Haven't used my Zune in ages, had no idea they were planning to bring it to the UK.

They've said they are bringing out one more piece of hardware and then the Zune will all be software based. i.e software on other mp3 players.

Yeah I'd heard the same about it being reduced to basically an iTunes kind of service. That's why I struggle to believe we'll ever get a European release, they've only ever sold it in the US for 3 years now, and all rumours of a UK launch have slipped by the wayside for years.

If they had any confidence in the Zune or its future, it would have been out here years ago. I don't think we'll see it before they finish it off.
