VHS, Digital Box, DVD set up.
Can someone kindly give me the cable set up for connecting VHS, Freeview box, and DVD to a three scart TV. Please include TV aerial. I do know there is a problem with recording off the DB with the correct set up.
I've asked this before last year, for a two scart TV but just cannot find it in a search. I also can't find the bit of paper I drew it on!!! I believe member 'SCORPIO' helped me greatly. A fellow Summerzet man! |

Hi Deacon
Thanks for that. Could I find it??????????? Can I throw a spanner in the works. I have actually got three scart connections on my 'new' telly. Can I now have the VHS, Freeview and DVD connected without having to mess around with the scarts when going from VHS to DVD? (which, if I recollect, I had a problem with the two scarts only?) Cheers Barry |

Here's hoping I don't undo anyone's hard work..... ![]() Digibox AV1 -> TV AV1 DVD AV1 -> TV AV2 VCR AV1 -> TV AV3 VCR AV2 -> Digibox AV2 If you want to keep the RF connections this will be the same as before as explained by Scorpio. Quote:
Aerial --> Digibox RF IN You can if you wish swap the Digibox and DVD around depending on which you prefer to be connected via RGB, unless AV1/AV2 are both RGB inputs.
Digibox RF OUT --> VCR RF IN VCR RF OUT --> TV |

Can I thank everyone for all their help, in particular Scorpio and Deacon. Everything is up and running, but I won't tell you how long it took. It is great to know there are members who will take the time to assist in a most basic problem (to them!!!). This is the first time that I have ever had TV,, Digi box, VHS, and DVD all working without having to swop scart leads. Thanks again. Great discussion board. Regards Barry |
