Don't know whether to look forward to it or not - I wouldn't miss a second of it last year but spent a lot of time yelling at the telly!!

Wish they'd give Raef a second chance.

Spring is here and the Apprentice is back, yay!
The First series was a classic and had candidates of calibre, maybe this year will live up to it. It's great fun dissecting each show, analysing the nuances and picking out the frontrunners.

I have to say that I enjoyed last year's series...there were some strong characters and others who were right numpties, which made for great viewing

I am so looking forward to the new series starting and to getting involved on here with the discussion. Hopefully this years candidates will not disappoint. I think I read somewhere that sirrallun was pondering on whether or not this years candidates had watched the show before as they didn't seem to learn from mistakes from previous series so I'm sure they won't!

The fun in this show is watching the really arrogant ones get things totally wrong and seeing their plans go a bit Pete Tong. See the backstabbing in the boardroom is good as well

Sports relief Apprentice - Tomorrow, 9pm, Watch

Didn't see this first time round as I don't watch sport relief and didn't know they did an episode for it till recently at which point I couldn't find myself a copy. So, looking forward to this as I doubt we'll get any more trailers / info till Wednesday now. Cept maybe a 1 minute clip or two on the beeb's youtube channel.

Might record it and watch it in installments throughout the series in-between episodes.

She was robbed!

Pure class.

I thought Lucinda's individuality was a breath of fresh air and I was disappointed that Sir Alan used it as a reason to fire her.

She was honest and competent throughout.

Lucinda was certainly my favourite character in series 4, but I would've thought it'd be weird if she won. Claire would've been better I think. Lucinda was far more entertaining than Claire, and she was much nicer, but she somehow managed to cause major arguements every week, but somehow, she won nearly all her tasks (8 out of 10 I believe!), whilst Claire, well, didn't.

And I hope Margaret is back on full form this year.

'Well, I don't think Edinbrough is what it used to be.'

And her face when Michael was yelling what the funniest thing ever.

The only reality show worth watching, this has class. All the rest is nothing but a load of crap. Roll on Wednesday

No she wasn't - she was a basket case attention seeker throughout - as it says in Times.online "Our own Brian Sewell described her as “dressed like an amateur French tart”."

A risk analyst in Edinburgh - no wonder these banks missed the blooming dangers!

She seems to have done nothing since about last August.

Initially I was impressed with Lucinda - although she had difficulty working as part of a team she was a very good manager.

Her unprofessional behaviour in the boardroom and the way she hijacked Helene's departure on The Apprentice: You're Fired changed my mind.

I don't know why people say that. She led a team twice. The second time she won, because she had by far the stronger team, with Lee and Claire on it, where Helene had a weak team with Michael and Alex. The first time she lost, largely through poor management. Her team was not unified; it effectively split in two with one half resenting her. She let them get complacent, let them go their own way even if that was wrong. She wasn't able to fix problems.

I'd say she was a mediocre leader. She did well with good teams and badly with bad teams. She wasn't good enough to turn a weak team into a strong one, nor bad enough to destroy a good team. She wasn't as bad as, eg, Alex or Simon, and wasn't as good as, eg, Claire.

Well we disagree on this - but that was last year and this year sees a new set of candidates.

No doubt opinions will be just as divided this series as they were in the past. It will be interesting to see who emerges as this years Ruth/Clare; Michael/Paul/Sayed/Tre not to mention Katie and Jenny C.

A new video clip has been released from the first task.

Blimey, when it comes to women pricing a job, it's like last year's linen task all over again!

Okay well clearly none of the featured women are the next Ruth Badgers/Kristina Grimes (i.e any good at negotiating...one of them is telling the guy who works for the other company to go check the prices he's offering...since she thinks he's wrong )

Got all of series 1 downloaded now, will resist the temptation to watch them though. I'll see the first one tomorrow and then every Sunday from then till the final.

Rocky Andrews is this year's B/S winner. Reckons to earn more than £100k a year, but lives with his parents in Midlesborough.

No, mate, what your business "Fatso's Filling Station" sandwiches makes every year is not your "pay".

PS: You'll get clobbered by the recession.

Is that what he owns, Fatso's?
Also reckons he used to play for Middlesbrough United, whatever that is.

On second thoughts perhaps he provided the half time butties.

About to watch series 1's "The Winner's first year" followed by episode 1 (since I know who won already).

Bloody hell that office, which I assume is Sir Alans' office is.. messy.

And making the winner Tim launch a product line, promote the product line and get the website for the product line online is.. cheap.

It would seem the shininess and glamour of the world of Amstrad on The Apprentice isn't technically.. real.
