Looking for a 42" HD TV....

..... been on the internet (as you do) and I'm baffled at all the websites!!

Basically looking for a 42" HD ready LCD TV. 1080p preferred, but will settle for 720 if significantly cheaper.

Will be getting Sky+ HD for it, and eventually a Blu-Ray player (or a PS3 that'll do both )

Don't care about the make, as long as it's one I would know!

Anyone know where I'd get the best price?

Have a look over on the avforums they have dedicated forums on hd tv.

I would go for something like a Sony Toshiba or Panasonic which seem to be the best makes.

Samsung if you want a cheap set but I bought a Samsung LE32R51BD and it only lasted around 2 years then broke.

And it was to much to get fixed so we bought another Toshiba.

my chap has just bought a panasonic 50" tv hd from argos for £489 and got a cheap stand too.

They have some very good deals in there
