Where is my record player?
I saw it today. The vynil edition of the double record by The Beatles ; "Let it be: Naked..." . Simply a fantastic idea. But now; I donīt have a record player...
What is a 7" record?.... A single?. "Fly on the wall" is on it. |

A record player is a simple device for playing records-if you're a young 'un, ask your parents about them! A 7" single is a small, 45 rpm record with two songs on it, one on either side. Yeesh, you're behind the times!

Ah, don't forget 7" 33rpm maxi-singles, normally with 3 or 4 songs on them. Particularly popular with Mungo Jerry for some reason.

LOL my kids used to love it when I get the old Albums 12" and 7" out
Facinated by the needle going up and down Funny thing was I heard the two girls having a conversation the other day saying how much cooler it is to be able to flick through records rather than the way people handle cds. They are also dissapointed at looking at the art work on little cds when comparing them to 12". |
