Bought music from Itunes on new Ipod?
~Jane~
06-03-2009
At the moment got an Ipod Nano and have got several albums and songs that I have bought from Itunes stored on it.

I am buying a new Ipod Classic later today and am I wondering, when I sync up my new Ipod to my Itunes, will the music I have bought transfer onto the new Ipod or are they licensed to one Ipod only? I really don't want to have to buy them all again as it will cost a small fortune!

Thanx in advance for any help.

You'll be ok. I put music on both my Classic and my Touch.

You can have your purchased music in a maximum of 5 places so you should be fine. If you are getting a new computer or iPod it is usually a good idea to de-authorise the tracks so you don't hit your limit.
