problem with vcr and pin number
Hello,
I've lost the remote for my vcr and bought a universal one but it doesn't have an "enter" button. My vcr is pin code protected and I can put the pin number in but need to press "enter" for it to register. Anyway I spoke to Aiwa and it will be 35 quid for new remote! Alternatively they said I could take it into the shop where I bought it and they could decode it. Does anyone know if this is possible to do myself as I suspect the shop charge just won't be worth it. I'd be grateful for any ideas, thanks |

Would it be possible to take the universal remote back and get another one with an enter button? One-for-all remotes seem excellent, and some of them can be upgraded to control new equipment.
Hope it helps Gdb
