I'm a big fan of this show. It's fantastically well written, relevant, funny, sad and gritty. The actors are perfect for their roles....
BUT I can't stand Laura Linney's facial exressions. It's that raised eyebrows pleading eyes face she constantly does - it drives me mad.
Funny how this thread is finally getting some life when the season ends
I didn't post during the course of the series because of the amount of times people posted stuff about what they'd already seen. Some were tagged by the mods, others were deleted, but some people were clearly out to ruin it.
Well I just finished watching the final episode of this season, and I was expecting a tear jerker (much like last season) but my God I am blubbering like a baby
I only just watched the last episode tonight (was pissed off that I forgot to record the penultimate ep and wanted to wait till I'd seen it but then just gave up). The ending left me feeling quite shaken, which is great! In these days of endless spoilers it's so rare for anything unexpected to happen.
I really hope it's just a near death experience. And I don't want the show to end with her death, I'd rather it end randomly and gently with her and Paul on a cruise or something
Hi all, I was just doing an internet search on The Big C to see when season 2 would air on terrestrial tv. I could have sworn I watched season 1 on channel 4??
So it seems season 2 has already been aired on More 4 - did it air on channel four to??
Maybe I did catch season one on More 4 - I did have Sky at one point but switched to freesat. Can't believe I've missed season 2!
So can anyone tell me if it WAS shown on C4 or just More 4? At least I'll know why I missed it - I can't get More 4

I can't believe I missed it being aired on Channel 4!!! I can only assume it was on very late at night and not given enough publicity to let the viewing public know it was showing. Disappointed.
Seriously cannot believe I've missed this! I've been soo looking forward to the new season as I loved the first run. I will catch up with it on lovefilm but it's grating when you know you could've seen it for free :mad:

At least I don't feel as bad knowing it was shown at that time then - it would've been easy to miss! Usually the newspapers tv listings highlight certain popular programmes but if they did I didn't see it.
If someone could update the thread when it's confirmed when season three will start (channel, time etc) then I for one will be grateful - don't want to miss it again!

I didn't know it was back last night. I've set my TiVo to record it now. This is one of the best shows on TV but I find so many people have never heard of it!

Yep. it was shown somewhere between 1-3am.

UPDATE: scrap that last question. I just checked and it's on Freesat channel 124 - yay! I get to watch season 3!
