I hope everyone who has suggested that the Chaser gets the easy questions was watching, I would say that Katie got at least 6 simple questions
Larry/Lawrence
Final Frontier/Star Trek
Spick/Span
Indigo/Blue
Grand Old Duke/10,000 men
Roy Orbison/Pretty Woman
Mark certainly got some easy ones as well but I was trying to note them down as they were asked and only wrote down 4 for him
Pluto/the Sun
Turkey/Asia
Black Spot/Treasure Island
Water/Still,Sparkling
So can we put to bed the stupid idea that the Chaser is deliberately given the easier questions?
Has anyone played the app game yet? It's very addictive but gets very easy once the repeat questions you got wrong once come along again in the next game!

I think out of all the questions in the final, the "spick and span" was the easiest. If Mark had been given that, we would never hear the end of it ;-)
I was surprised though that he doesn't seem the have heard of Biffo the Bear
Nope, you're wrong. In a final chase where the team are say 15 steps in front, you could count the number of easy questions for the Chaser easily on two hands...
Agreed.
It doesn't matter if set A or set B have a mix of easy to hard, you are a so called quiz master you shouldnt be given easy questions no matter what. All 4 Chasers are supposedly the cream of the crop yet get easy questions "What letter does the word wrong start with". Really your telling me its fair they get that while the contestants get the very hard ones?

Are you deliberately ignoring the posts that disprove this?

If the contestants get questions like say, "What star does the Earth orbit?", then the Chaser has every right to get those sorts of questions too. And both are done equally.
The thing about "Set A" and "Set B" is that we don't actually know they really exist. For all we know Bradley reads out the same questions no matter if the contestants choose A or B.

I don't know why they can't just show them picking between two envelopes before the final round instead of saying they did it during the break. I'm pretty sure they're not fixing it or surely someone would've leaked it to the media by now.
It's been a while since they were all eliminated but is it really fair that they all get a second chance to win £1000 each? Just last week, two finalists were playing for £2000 yet the other 2 eliminated ones were out of the running.

They can't win.
There's an independent adjudicator.

Why should they?
Even if they did do that, the same small number of people would find some reason to still doubt if its genuine.

Yeah all these conspiracy theories are nonsense. Beyond Dispute work on some big shows like Eurovision and Strictly. They're a reputable and successful company. And The Chase has been a big hit for ITV. Why would The Chase risk destroying their own show, just to save a few thousand pounds? And why would Beyond Dispute want to be involved?
Every single page on here seems to include fixing allegations and it's getting a bit annoying.

Yeah because game shows havent been fixed in the past....right?

You got any credible evidence The Chase is fixed by the production Co in the manner suggested ? Take it to the relevant authorities. Otherwise you ain't convinced many people here who watch every day .
The most recent Uk high profile case was by conspiracy involving contestants, nothing to do with the Producers who actually did the investigating etc.
I really do - they are poor contestants, the good ones are screened out at audition.
)
Still smarting you never got the call up. then?
There have been some very good contestants, some who have been knocked out, some who failed at last chase. Some of whom actually win at least once a week,
Not a very good screening process.
Bit of a loose connection but Steve/Ireland/Ex Pat - Hmmmm;-)
The only loose connection is the one between your ears where your brain should be.:D:D:D
You really are a pathetic excuse for a human being.
Looking forward to the next PM you're going to send. Don't even bother trying to insult me this time. What was it the last time? I type like a 16 year old school girl? It takes someone with a greater intelligence than you to succeed in insulting me.
I suppose I should end with a like you always do.:D:D:D:D
I found the quote in your PM to me "Oh and by the way, the word you cannot spell is lose and not loose. Or in your style of writing (that of a teenage girl) LOL"[/B
You know, DONTBANME, for somebody that has slagged me off for my spelling, that sentence doesn't actually make sense. ]

Yeah I Know what you mean, but it still can be challenging sometimes and quite thrilling occasionally, hope they update it soon

Very good contestants? I've watched all four shows this week and haven't seen one. Very good judging by your own standards perhaps?

Unlike some I try to make my judgements on the evidence of seeing more than a small sample of the programme over less than one week, not on some imaginary bias in the screening process from a disgruntled applicant.

They come up automatically on brads screen yeah?
Good cash builder contestants take set a bunch of difficult ones automatically come up on screen they get say 16 in 2 minutes.
Chasers turn, automatically on screen he / she gets 10 easy ones out of 20 automatically come up.
Don't care if they choose a or b at all to be fair.
I really do - they are poor contestants, the good ones are screened out at audition.
I note Labbett threw another answer or two in the final chase again. Biffo the err.........dog:D
