I know it was kind of rushed and all happened in like 3 weeks but the final episodes of Pat and especially her death episode was fantastic and really showed how dangerous cancer is and that not everyone has the chance to find it in time
Announced early and not mid storyline loke characters annoinced to be leaving same tome were go e ages before the stpryline was kicking off
Had various phases - like diagnosis, weddong, finding her mum, preparation for her death, her heath
Has an aftermath still like Lucy’a from Jay/Nadine to Ben,/ rushed exit to how characters face illnesses like Alfie, the marathon run coming up, her videos which have been airing at various times and she has a photo in the vic as a memory which pops so very much feels part of show.
Brilliantly acted by all especially Danielle, Jamie and Isabella.

Pats was more like 2 episodes. The one she got diagnosed in the drinking in the vic and the next episode she was already on her deathbed.
I feel like we skipped some episodes with how that change was a blink of an eye.
Her death episode was fantastic but definitely should have been more build up imo.
For me it has to be Lola. It was treated with respect and handled really sensitively. It wasn't rushed or anything either.
This. Lola’s axing was announced a year before she left if I can remember and I also remember people on this forum asking when she was going to die like it had to be rushed, the show handled it so realistically.
For me it would have to be that of Ashley in Emmerdale.
John Middleton and Charlotte Bellamy were superb during Ashley’s dementia storyline.
I agree, not to forget Freddie Jones and the actors who play Gabby and Arthur (can't remember their names) too. The episode Ashley died in aired on my 19th birthday, as despite the fact I was in a good mood (due to it being my birthday obviously), I was still in tears at that episode.

Yes all the actors involved in Ashley’s dementia storyline were brilliant. And the awards John and Charlotte won were very well deserved.

I think they were both shocked how many they got
Of all the awards I was most pleased to see John win an NTA.

Lola in Eastenders.
Agreed.
Didn't like the taking her own life part.
I think Ashley in Emmerdale was the best which was the dementia storyline
Are you sure you don't mean Ashley from Emmerdale?
But Sonya in neighbours was absolutely heartbreaking, it was just so sad, the final episode is just beautiful
Sensitively handled
