I only saw the bit with Bear Grylls and Richard seemed really excited that he was ex-SAS. I was having Partridge flashbacks to his love of Bravo Two Zero.

Wishes there was a smilie that means"Harry Hill- like look to camera"
I've always enjoyed R&J but can't watch it now without thinking of this thread. Not saying that's a bad thing, just gives a whole new perspective.
While I could see Judy happily pottering around a garden with a trug full of flowers, I couldnt see Richard - attention seeker that he is - content with being out of the limelight.
Im sure if they did finish with the R&J Show, then Richard would go on to 'pursue other projects'.....
I could just see him presenting a show called "Smell My Cheese!" (please see Alan Partridge DVD for details )

so true, kittylitter, so true!
remember the show he did when they let him out on his own, can't remember the title but it was about extreme weather ?
there was something about the production and style of presenting that was so, so like alan's motoring crashes show that he released on video after his tv show was axed. a-haaaaaa!
if mad-ley was off our screens for good, i would be in mourning, he is the most entertaining thing in my life by miles. yes i know, that says more about me than him etc. but there you go
I seen a picture on the front of a magazine a few months ago of Richard and Judy on holidays, and she looked dreadful. They were strolling down a street or a market and it looked like she was wearing a nightdress. Seriously, it was something you'd wear to bed. And not the kind Richard would like her to wear, me thinks.
