Disgusted that UK gave no points to Ireland...and not because they gave us points.

But just for the fact that they are still, in my mind anyway, part of our Islands and our closest neighbours. Disgusted with UK

Ireland gave us 0 in 2003.

At least I could understand the UK song lol. The Irish woman needed better diction.

Its very sad to see the UK and Ireland (the two most successful countries in Eurovision ever) coming last.

We won't see Ireland in the final for several years if the voting system isn't changed. The UK needs a big rethink for 2008 - but even Sweden which had a great song didn't do well!

The end of Eurovision for western Europe!

There are only three major UK presenters and some clones of them. The Dealey is the standard, the Davina is the oldmodel and the Fearne is the designated replacement.

    The Stepford Presenters:)

I thought the Ukraine song a major crap and look where it came.

My Turkey and Greece didn't do too badly but latvia came nowhere.

    The best song won :)
    No it didn't.:(

Ireland will have to qualify next year.

We just pull out of this shambles.

Fair do's to the Finns though, they did a good show - apart from the blonde bimbo that is.

Right, so it's Belgrade next year.:( One of the grimmest and most depressing cities in Europe.

    Serves them right.

    Well done Serbia - Fandabidozi.

BTW - the rest of Europe have always hated us... we have only started to realise it since the public voted.

Also, I think Schooch did well, if we can't win we may as well have a laugh

Amazing how these places can afford to host it.
They can't, UK, Germany, Spain and France subsidise it through Eurovision.

This contest is dead. The west is finished and as soon as all of the Balkans have won they will get bored of it.

Anyone noticed that the "big four" (UK, France, Germany, Spain) who pay for and enter this now are all in the bottom six of the final result?
    Yet again...

It's the Eastern European Song Contest now clearly.

The BBC should pull funding from the European Broadcasting Union until something is done about the political voting like the Italians have.

Do you remember the days when the UK entry was No1 weeks before and after the competition.

They can't - that's the joke! If the Big 4 didn't finance it, it wouldn't take place. The BBC had to bail out Ireland (RTE) every time it won because RTE would have been bankrupted!
    Hmm... interesting - I didn't know that.

It's worth noting that the "big four" countries from the west who pay for most of this, all finished in the bottom six.

But the "make your mind up" show (aka the entry decision) was the rethink because things were going so badly wasan't it?
