For a supposed "entertainment extravaganza", tonight has been way off the mark.
Doctor Who, Dragons Den and the Eastenders Beatles bits have been the highlights - and that is it.
Wogan should reture from doing this now - hand it over to someone who can breath a bit of life and energy (Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross spring to mind).
I've never missed a Children In Need - believe in the cause - but never have I seen such a dreadfully thrown together mess as this! No-one seems to have any passion for it - maybe all the BBC cuts have caused morale to drop and no one cares?
Even the audience looked bored and bemused most of the time.
The clips showing the reason for donating have been poor. Little emotional impact. And there only seems to have been about 4 or 5 of them that they keep repeating. Over the years I remember many haunting and touching clips which stayed with me long after watching - where are they this year?
BBC - you should be ashamed. You have got to do better next time.
Performances have been mailed in from most people except Kylie, The Doctors and the Sugar Babes.
Buzzcocks piece was atrocious. Message to the Beeb and to the DJ's themselves. DJ's are slow burn, they have a three hour show to build rapport in, that is then on every day. Not one of them can go on a half hour tv show and instantly entertain in that format. Surely any half wit can see that.
I think Wogan and Moyles are great at what they do on the radio but neither one should be allowed within a million miles of a TV show.
Maybe Jonathon Ross can double up and do Comic Relief and CIN.
I notice Kerplunksky isn't there this year helping out Mr W! Thank goodness for that - she was just awful last year!
Mind you, Mr W is getting worse as the years toll on - he's just not funny anymore, especially since I found out that he gets paid bundles to do this show :mad:

But without ferne singing
I like Denise, but she's an average singer. Not in Dusty's class.
She'd have been better off giving a fun performance of I Only Want to Be With You.
This style really suits her - I didn't recognise her at first

Anyone remember that bollocks saturday night show Denise did a few years ago?

You have nothing to offer
I'm out
The only three things that people generally didn't hate that much.
I agree. She's better at the presenting stuff than this leading lady bit.

Did you think it was Denise van Tits Outen......sorry had to be said
I hated DW, I'm afraid.
David Tennant makes me cringe.
