What about Elvis' version of Can't Help Falling in love with you
I always liked the idea of dancing down the aisle a'la the bit in Dirty Dancing at the end where Johnny and the dancers do their thing while Baby stands on the stage looking like a muppet
Seriously though... congrats and have a lovely day.
How about Frankie goes to Hollywood - The Power of Love ?
I think Holly Johnson re-released it with just strings and piano if you prefer that version,(or maybe just performed it on Jools Holland ?) : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IV5N21mpmIo
I recently went to my 2nd cousins wedding and they had Beatles songs played on acoustic guitar - it was All You Need Is Love when she actually walked down the aisle but others while everyone was being seated at the end. It was really lovely.
If it's in church and you want to make them jump, try O Fortuna by Orff. It's what I walked in to (even tho a friend said "you can't it's the Omen music"!! (but it's not).)

"Come a little bit closer baby, get it on, get it on,
Because tonight is the night when two becomes one......
I need some love like i never needed love before
(wanna make love to ya baby),
I had a little love and now im back for more
(wanna make love to ya baby)
Set your spirit free its the only way to be."
IT would be perfect. good luck.;)

Bon Jovi - Thank You for Loving me (the vid actually has a bride in it!!)
Just 2 faves of mine....!
Thanks for all your replies! I love the idea of "someone like you" by Van Morrison - that's a great one and also "it must be love" by madness.
I was looking through some CD's yesterday and stumbled accross "only you" by the platters and thought about that one too!
At least I've got some ideas to think about now.

I thought that was called Dance of the Knights?
The lyrics are very wedding-y.
But congratulations!

It was, and she sang 'Stand By Your Man' after being married about 5 times...
Someone mentioned 'The Rose', I'm sure thats more suited to a funeral! And no, not Pestlife's version, get a real one like Michael Ball.
A local minister to here used to have a woman sing Jennifer Rush's 'The Power Of Love'.
