I can't help but feel cynical about it all.

I have the feeling the audience are being encouraged to like Raef and dislike Michael by editing.

imagine him faking his passion all over you, you would vomit

on a side note - why do they all use that word passion / passionate. Theyve nicked it from passionate TV chefs who have a passion about Food,

I am not comfortable with the image of Michael faking passion. Is anything in his life authentic? or is everything an act?

You forgot to add the pout. He pouts a lot in a "if you fire me I'll scweam and scweam and scweam" kind of way.

Editing is different to someone making a complete and utter arse of themselves 24/7. As far as I can tell no one makes him say things like 'I can fake passion, whether with a woman or in business" No one made him lick the dress guys arse and then say they were awful in the car. No one made him lie in the board room when he said that he pushed for the top end dresses (and margret caught him out). You can't blame all that on 'editing'!!!

I've hated him since about week 2, he's really is an awful presence, not easy to notice in amongst the other dross at the start, but now as the field cuts down, his idiocy is becoming more apparant. Sir Alan was never going to fire 2 candidates again as they can't have a week when no-one gets fired and there's only 4 more weeks. So that was chucked in to add extra excitement, Michael will have to go soon, Sugar is NOT going to employ this boy.

LOL! I am still mad he wasn't fired. Apparently he was some sort of thesp and that's why he comes over all dramatic in the boardroom (well, if your definition of dramatic is pathetic and whiney).

Yes. yes it is, it's a variation on the 'fight or flight' mechanism called the 'heal or hatch' mechanism! :D
