The chances of winning the jackpot (FH in 32 numbers) is very low, they don't need to fix it to keep it going un-won for a long time. Statistically, the chances of any one bingo card winning a FH in 32 numbers or less is about 1 in 81 million.
A typical BNL show has about 45,000 registered players - so roughly a quarter of a million cards in play (as everyone has six tickets) for each game, and there are three games per night so about 750,000 cards per show. At five shows per week, that means roughly 3.8 million cards in total per week.
With odds of 81 million to 1 against any card managing a FH within 32 numbers, and no more than 4 million cards in play per week, a jackpot win can only be expected once every four months or so - ON AVERAGE.
Hiya, I was a bit late arriving here but I got my cards in time. My MN is b35, and my dots are scattered across all the cards so I have little chance of the FH in this game.
