Unless it can be proved that there is a god then there is no reason in the trade description laws to prevent this "advert", as it would be the up to the complainer to prove miss-selling.
To be honest this won't achieve anything. Believers will simply turn their heads and bemoan the unbelievers who printed it.
It's not intended to convert people. It's intended to make people think, to raise awareness, just to have an alternative point of view out there, to counter all the religious advertising.

Yeh, I really tire of all those religious ads on TV.
Why not advertise that? Us non believers are human too! I don't complain about all the 'Lord, God, Mercy' posters advertised everywhere... Though I'd prefer it if they stayed the f**k off of my doorstep
Agnostic: need to be shown evidence but open to accepting if proof provided
aethiest: non believer in all sense, with no open mindedness
BS!!
I am an athiest and I am very open minded. I am open to many possibilities as I know that we do not know all the answers.
I just don't believe in God in the religious context, or a book written by men full of stories being the word of Christ/God etc.
If there was a god, we would have no evidence or understanding of anything to do with it. Its like trying to get a plankton to understand Special relativity.
Its the arrogance of MEN that a being like god sent a SON to Earth for us all as humans were so special.
What if God favours Dolphins? Why is the only prominent woman in the bible a virgin?
Sometimes I think I am more a Deist. its the manmade religions I hate. Pagans got it right, worship the Sun, without it we WOULD be all dead.
Basically, any atheist who claims - definitively - that there is no god undermines the basis upon which atheism is built: reason. Even the erstwhile Prof Dawkins doesn't claim that.
I hate the cut definitions of agnostic/atheist as everyone has differing scales
Where I stand. I dismiss all religion texts as nothing more than fairly tale rubbish. I think everything came from the big-bang and that everything can ultimately be explained with science and logic. Not yet but ultimately can be.
I dismiss religious texts as complete horses**t. However like many people of the sciences I do not deny there is no explanation to what became before the universe and what it was that created the Higgs boson. I.E something had to jump start creation itself. God? I dunno no one does. Something did for sure but that will always be impossible to answer, but I don't think an invisible man made everything with magic etc and you will be reward/punlished in the afterlife, total rubbish. Nothing but the biggest con is the history of creation.
Now that does make me an atheist and not agnostic.

They don't offer anything in return for switching off
Its actually saying There is probably no god, go out and enjoy your life.
That is a good message.
Seriously? Would they allow "Jesus Lives" posters?
Yeh, I really tire of all those religious ads on TV.
Amen to that!
Watched Songs of Praise recently?
..and if it was a TV ad, you might have a point.
Songs of Praise is a programme. You might as well claim all the non-religious shows are secular ads.
So come on pickwick, when was the last time you saw a religion advertised on a standard bus?
You are correct.
Agnostic: need to be shown evidence but open to accepting if proof provided
aethiest: non believer in all sense, with no open mindedness
When was the last time an Athiest knocked on your door?
Next question?
Alpha Course?
That is incorrect.

Atheist simply means that the individual has no theistic belief.
There is some considerable overlap between the two positions.
"People don't like being preached at. Sometimes it does them good, but they still don't like it."
"Christianity is for people who aren't afraid to think about life and meaning."
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Raises chalice and drinks to that one
Okay, maybe I'm being a tad blasphemous now

I'd say both. The biggest problem of definition comes from the idea that the two are mutually incompatible.
