Tim, Spencer, Narrinder and Marco were my favourites, Tim was excellent which really surprised me. It was much better than I thought it would be and did not need Jeff there, really liked him on the farm but hes gone back to that silly hairstyle which seems to be a bad sign.
I saw the first 30 mins and had to turn off. It was awful! I couldn't understand a word Jade was saying, and her overacting and shouty voice hurt my ears.
Thought Spencer and Tim were funny as the ugly ladies, but they were all pretty rubbish. I hope none of them try and start acting careers!
Agreed: It just stereotypes all gay men as screaming queens; which is so not factual.
How can gay men get acepted as "normal" with a different taste in sexual partners, when the only types we get on our TV screens are the effeminate, dress waring, make up plastering, screaming camp ones?
I would say that the MAJORITY of gay men that I know, you wouldn't know that they were gay unless they told you.
I feel sorry for them.
Society will never move on all the time that they are 1. a great butt of any Queer joke and 2. it's allowed.
It should be as distasteful and illegal as Racism.
Roll on 2006! - One step forward, 300 back. Typically British.
er Marco seemed like a willing participant and I think just take it bit tongue in cheek and don't read too much into it....this is panto needs a bit more flamboyance than perhaps is the norm.......:)
I thought the whole thing lastr night was badly put together. The script was awful, the acting was good but the dancing could've been better. Jade and Marco were too loud.
Yes as someone who didnt like Spencer even I have to say he was good, Tim wasnt bad either.
Ditto
Both Tim and Spencer were excellant. They could both make a move into acting, without too much trouble, I would think They certainly gave it their all.
I don't like Victor, but to give him his due, he wasn't too bad in the Panto
Don't know if this is considered poor form but I thought I'd bring this thread back to the future.
Almost four years later, I finally got round to watching the BB panto today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only criticism is that there was far too much Jade and not nearly enough Anouska but that's splitting hairs really. Great to see some old faces - who knew Tim could be so entertaining? Most of you have probably seen it already but those who haven't, you're missing a treat.
Thanks to Omah, who mentioned it in a thread today, for reminding me.
Special thanks to Stentionhouse for uploading it, not to mention all his other BB clips. The guy's a legend.
Thanks to Sten and Lurker, i have just had the pleasure of watching the BB panto and the behind the scenes show, thought it was a good laugh, reading through the comments on this thread from 4 years (!) ago, is most amusing, in a good way, i agree that Spencer stole the show and Anouska was under utilised, i liked Mel, thought she did good and liked Vic, Nic was pretty awful though. In the behind the scenes shows the public vote for the role of Cinderella was a waste of time most famous BB hm ever against a first week evictee? yeah right, what chance did Anouska have - especially against that way OTT over acting? Never mind it was a nice blast from the past and interesting to see a group of hms from each of the first 5 bbs all working together.
But just for the record for some i can't remember which BB they were in = so here goes
BB1) - Nick
BB2) - Narinder and Mel
BB3) - Jade, Spencer and Tim
BB4) - Anouska and Kitten
BB5) - Victor, Marco and Nadia
How am i doing did i get em all right and did i miss anyone?
Comments
liked victor as well felt sorry for anoushka as she was hardly in it too much of jade who i hate
please no more jeff
best part for me was when nick said he killed his wife with two fingers like that minger lisa and they panned to lisa just as the word minger was used
I thought Jade was absolutely hillarious! Bless her!
Tim & Spencer surprisngly good, though playing a dame it's easier to make an impression than playing whatever Vic & Nick were supposed to be.
Kitten is no thespian.
Jade - Delivered her lines almost faultlessly - amazing (extra coaching?) - except I only understood half of it - will NEVER be an actress .....
Victor - Was he improvising ? - NOT impressive .....
Mel - Very good - suited the role - looked like she was enjoying it .....
Kitten - Just so out of place .....
Marco - Another good performance - he was enjoying it too .....
Narinder - In the wrong role, really - should have been Dandini - but relished the attention - good performance .....
Nick - Nick, Nick - just what was he doing there - terrible .....
Tim and Spencer - absolutely brilliant - J&J to a "T" - had me in stitches - excellent .....
Anouska - didn't do much - looked nice doing it though .....
Script - appalling, amateurish .....
Choreography - Well done to all of them and their coach .....
An interesting experiment - I hope it's never repeated .....

It was so bad, that I actually enjoyed it apart from Jade almost ruining it
My take is on their panto parts/acting, regardless of wheather I like them as a person or not:
Mel - Average
Nick - bad/awful
Jade - downright over the top awful, the silly bint, who does she think she is
Jeff - Presnter I don't think so - little twerp
Marco - below average
Narinder - good
Anoushka - below average
Victor - Good
Kitten - average to good
Tim and Spencer - absolutely brilliant. They stole the show
Nadia - Awful
Michelle - bad
Jon Tickle - Brilliant
Better late than never eh ?

Yeah, it was another C4 Goody "vehicle" (£30k fee) with addition lucre for Brazier being a git .....
..... but some of the other HMs were very entertaining, even if they weren't appropriately cast (like Anouska) .....
