Used to be good fish 'n chips, but lost the "local chippy" feeling. Had one in Edinburgh a few years back, which was ok when it started, but rapidly morphed into just an expensive chippy...now closed and replaced by the Loch Fyne chain...which could be heading the same way according to local opinion...
We have a Loch Fyne near us in Poole, seems pretty busy. Not tried it tho.

I've not been to the local Edinburgh one I have to admit, but from what I've heard it's just not a patch on the original. Apparently it's not bad but if you're expecting something out of this world, it's just not quite got "it"...
