Is it just me or is Bruno really really annoying now!! I know he is excitable but i think he is just playing to the cameras a bit much now. It will be interesting to see if he is the same when SCD returns in UK.
I have went right off him in the last few weeks - i think he annoys Len as well!

Excellent idea - and Bruno would probably love it!
Yeah, but I was thinking that perhaps someone could put a few bricks inside it first!!!????
He's worse on DWTS though!
I read that he likes his time in the US and he is a big hit at parties. The ladies love him...he did make that comment on Chelsea Lately show that he should go to the other side because so many beautiful women in Hollywood adore him.
He was just on a show Reality Chat which is a daily show where they recap all of the reality shows and they did an hour special on DWTS. Bruno cooked for the host in this gorgeous kitchen and he was hysterical. He made his chicken Bruno recipe and said "I need to flip the bird" and the host said "In America flipping the bird means something else" and Bruno looked at her like she was crazy. Then he gave her cha cha lessons and was slapping her because she was getting it wrong. He is quite a personality.
His knowledge of dancing is still extremely limited, and he makes himself look/sound very silly when he tries to pretend otherwise; he is also soooooooooo OTT he now comes across as just stupid and irritating instead of amusing. Of all the judges in both dwts and scd I wish he would be replaced - and soon!
Everything is a film reference or an innuendo or an opportunity to jump up and thrust his hips.
It's the same thing over and over again *jump up, wave arms compare the celeb to an actor or singer, pout*
They may as welll get a guest judge from the audience.
I wouldn't say Carrie Ann is that much better and they compete for attention, won't be long before she delivers her 10 with a fist pump!
He also mentioned in an interview he's also got a cookery series lined up. They'll be filming him travelling and cooking across Italy. According to Arlene he's a very good cook.
Bruno became a judge on Strictly at fairly short notice. Like Arlene, he knew absolutely nothing about ballroom & Latin dancing, and Len had to give them a quick lesson on what they should be looking for.
Since then, although, to be fair, I think Arlene has picked up some knowledge, Bruno doesn't seem interested enough to care or take it seriously ................ on Strctly no one will forget how one couple did an "illegal" lift, and Bruno said "he didn't care" and still gave them a 10.
I feel the leaping about etc, is simply his way of compensating for his lack of knowledge. He is irritating at best, and stupid at worse. I wish he would be replaced.
I have no knowledge of Carrie Ann, (I don't know what dance experience she has), but I often feel her comments are as way off as Bruno's, and if I had to guess, it would be to say, she too knows v.little about ballroom/Latin.
She's a dancer/choreographer for film and TV. No ballroom background at all. I'd imagine she was given a crash course as well.
She was asked to be a "honorary" judge at an American dancesport competition (presumably to create publicity for the event) and was judging 'performance', separate from the real judging. I would hope that she took it as opportunity to learn more about ballroom and latin dancing.
Most of the time I find her comments vague and ridiculous, they don't show that she has any specialist knowledge about any type of dance despite being a dancer herself.
Athough I saw her criticisms on Melissa's dance for this weeks show and thought where spot on, Len ignored them but overall I think she's useless *LOL*
She writes about her role in >> her blog
I think Bruno has been a bit OTT this season and I don't want him to go, but I'd like it if he could cool it a little.
It is Len's comments that I usually pay attention to the most.
