Am I the only one who is looking forward to this show?
I loved the first series (missed one episode, the 2nd world war one. Anyone know where I can watch it?) and am so glad that Giles Coren and Sue Perkins are back for a 2nd series!
Here's to their lively banter and fun trawl through food history!

So the first series was called 'Supersizers Go...' and this one is called 'Supersizers Eat...' ???
I imagine there is a greater emphasis on eating in this series, as I recall the first series had a bit of history in it and they learnt a few relevant (non-cooking/eating) skills.
I hope they don't change the format too much.
Why I have this sense that there has been a not-quite-as-good second series already I do not know, how queer.
And am I wrong to slightly fancy Giles? :)
For those who want to know the eras for the series:
In the manner of fancying Giles, I find something intriguing about Sue, even though the famously bats for the other side, and isn't a knockout in the looks department.
I thought Sue looked 'fab' done up in the '70's gear in the last series and Giles looks brill dressed as a 17th century dandy
Sue looked beautiful in the 70s gear - and there is something about Giles!! There's something about Sue too...they're both charismatic and so watchable and likeable!!! I love their pairing!
Completely agree! They both manage to look good in the era's they are in.
On the subject of fancying Giles, yup you can count me in on that too! I loved the episode where he was trying out the chat up lines of the time! I think that was when I warmed to him and then more so in the Georgian episode in his Mr Darcy get up!
Both Giles and Sue make a great pairing, and both came across well on Jonathan Ross on Friday night too
Yay on tonight peeps!
can't wait!
Yeah I know:(
But there is only so many era's they can portray:(:(
Yep, although it would be fun to see them attempt the Stone Age as Giles stated.
What I remember most about the 80's were Pot Noodles and Golden Wonder Crisps!
And some Adam Ant and Wham:D
