Who's laughing? I'm not! But I was curious. It's not a crime.
Put it this way, if there were someone who was gay or lesbian on University Challenge would there be two threads dedicated to it and would they be labelled an it?

Like it or not, people are going to be curious about this.
People are judged on how they look every minute of every day. Welcome to human nature.
Nobody would be reacting this way if it were someone who is gay or lesbian, someone of another race or whatever, human nature has matured and grown past the old fashioned "lets all point at the different looking person", or so i thought.

Then you've thought incorrectly. For example, it's been the first time for many moons I've tuned into University Challenge and I was already forming an opinion of the 'buzzer press' guy and that was based on voice alone! Heaven help him if he'd been seen!

Some people love any excuse to get up on their high horse.

I guess i thought it was the 21st century where people weren't treated like they were in a freak show just because of how they choose to look.
