I spent most of my life on Twitter (and Facebook if I'm honest) and have just seen this story - potentially our personal details are wide open to see for anyone with a bit of techy knowledge

How could such a huge site allow this to happen? Makes me think twice about having an account.....

Most sites and software have vulnerabilities. Microsoft is forever finding security holes and having to issue patches and updates :D I don't think it's really a big deal, as long as they're fixing them.

Granted, but it's a big deal if such a huge weakness has only just been made public.
