Weird thing pushed through my door.

I just got home from uni and have found a lot of cheap feeling white ribbon stuff tied up in a kind of bow tied with a dirty white shoelace.

    I'm so confused, the only thing I could think of is that one of my neighbours has made a toy for my cats that sometimes sit in the window and have pushed it through my door. I dunno.

    Nope never. It looks like the type of ribbon that you use at xmas and with birthday presents, but I've never even owned this colour.

    It's very strange, maybe it's been put through the wrong door and was meant for someone else (although why anyone would want white ribbon and an old shoelace is anyones guess :confused: )

    In reality, it's just some young kid playing around as another poster said. Throw it in the bin and stop worrying about it.

    I think the logical conclusion - is a newly wed bride tried to get into your house via the post box - she got one leg in, realised it wasn't going to work and pulled her leg out - leaving behind the garter bow thing - at least that's the first thing that popped into my mind....

    EDIT: which may in fact be nail polish :o

    It's nail varnish. I chipped it earlier so it's a bit manky looking anyway. :D

    Thats the type of ribbon that makes a scrunching sound, cats love that. Is the bow dangling from the shoe lace? Sounds like a well meaning neighbour has made a toy for your cat to play with whilst your out.

    Could it be something made for a cat, that your cat has brought in and inadvertantly left by the front door?
