DVB-T2 multiplex (temporary HD mux) has launched at Crystal Palace transmitter, and will start a high-power service from Winter Hill at DSO2 in the early hours of tomorrow morning. The official launch of the service is 6am on the 2nd December 2009.
Just announced by the presenter Rocks & Co now simulcast for the first time on STV from 00.30. I've lost count of the number of channels they broadcast on during a 24 hour period.
Hooray! It looks like they've got everything right this time round. When I turned on my GOODMANS GDB5 this morning, naturally there were some channels not working such as Channel 4, Five and Sky News. I re-scanned and everything came back and no radio stations were duplicated this time either.
Change: LCN32 (multiplex D/Arq Big Deal will be broadcasting GemsTV1 from 10pm from Saturday 9th. The channel becomes the latest teleshopping service to broadcast on 32 since the original quiz content ceased.
Change: LCN 89 (Mux D/Arqiva becomes "TV News".
Blank channel slot first appeared on the Nationwide Retune Day on 30/09/2009. Now broadcasting an MHEG Digital Text caption: "TV News Back Soon!".
EPG Details appeared: Broadcast hours 05:00 - 07:59.

Although there may have been a caption before 9am and that may have gone
But the hours are still less on DTT.
Maybe its being cleared for Teleshopping.

No it's still working. Perhaps you meant to say that the news and information content has ceased.
LCN100 is still operational, as is the text service on Freeview ITV1, ITV2, C4, E4, More 4 and C4+1. The main Teletext bitrate is still 950kbps.
The only change I can see is that one Teletext Extra stream has reduced its bitrate from 100kbps to 50kbps.
Also Community Channel has changed its logo.
