Ok, so I don't know when you guys are in our regen rewatch, but I've just finished Logopolis.
My opinion of it hasn't changed : a beginning that I've really liked, but it kind of loses its dynamism after a while.
Two things I very much regret about it :
1) "Oh, the Watcher ! It was the Doctor all along !"... That line definitely doesn't work for me ! But I like the idea of The Watcher. And after having seen Planet of the Spiders (with what the Doctor's old master had done with Cho-Je, it has some credibility in my eye.
2) Four tripping over a brick or as close as can be !
Really I think that the biggest let down (no pun intended !) in that story is the death of Four. Really... One of the most eccentric and dynamic and full of life Doctors, and he dies because he let go of the cable he was hanging onto !

this is exactly how i see it too. Such a shame really!
oooh excellen point... in that case i am more than happy that i am in work and not at home where its manic and busy
Are you implying that it WONT be manic and busy roun yours with the Monster and dglemlet ( and OH) this Christmas? not forgetting you having a squeeeefest?
Personally I think they waited for a parting in all the hair related stuff and snipped there
Evening folk might have the chance to hang around for a bit, real life willing
Solamenn, your hat faux pas is easily overlooked as long as there is plenty of Laurent Perrier
Muttley- PLYMOUTH?!?!?!? Are you having to travel a lot for the new job
daznov, good luck with the las few exams
clever chick- you are certainly living up to your name
dgem, Dawek Tarm sounds wonderful
Tigger , have a good break from work
Ken - trust you to bring Peris cleavage to the front
Tumpy is te school nice and warm now?
dawn, I can believe you missed a hair conversation!
Weedle, hope the car is sorted now. And be careful, we don't want your sainsers getting a rep as the one with the stalker
staff
What page we on? ah well only another 175 odd till we get shot of the wet vet
Nice that i am very predictable and i dare say that karen Gillian's will supersede peri's ;-))
Hi Webby - school all warm now and thankfully the kids finish Thursday lunch -sorry to the parents who have to deal with us naughty teachers sending them home early.
Sadly we are in Friday because we have 5 hours of training on Safeguarding - the new in thing. After teaching for 25 years in the same school I now have to have photo ID to prove who I am. Sadly I don't have any so don't know what they'll do. I may go mad or take a book!
I think I'll try Logopolis tomorrow if I've time.
Anyway then I'm off for two whole weeks - hoorah but it will be busy as I'm doing Christmas this year.

He could have got everyone to chant "DOCTOR" and floated to the ground...If only he had known
Nice one !
As always. I might also sneak in some Roquefort
I'll love it if next part is called "part THE Colin Baker"
Good thing, because I doubt the forums will be quiet during that time, so you'll have plenty of time to hang around here
*feels light tickle and dismisses it as work of disgruntled vet fanciers wot can't appreciate true geenyus*
Any way at THIS pace we might be onto part TCB before new year
Doesn't matter I feel quite pathetic for even pointing it out.
Ken
Using the Pharos project antenna instead of the Archangel Network as a psychic amplifier or whatever that was ?
That would be perfect - but not too soon, please!
I'll set Weedle on you - then you'll be sorry!
See ? That's a good silver lining Lots of quiet DW talk !

It is quite a let down for him. Does TB ever speak about his feelings towards the regeneration.
*goes off into corner with bottle of champagne and PD autograph*
"There, there, poor Five, don't mind the funny man..."
