Gosh - I'm afraid I'm watching Some Like it Hot which has my favourite end line ever.
I want to make the most of watching them in HD while I have the chance as I don't have a Blu Ray player. There is no way I'm going outside, the snow was just starting to clear and then another 4 inches appeared over night and it's still snowing. The only thing I could be doing is concentrating properly on my work but somehow that doesn't hold much appeal :D

I have the greatest sympathy on the work front. I don't even want to think that I'm back on Monday. I'll end up spending Sunday getting sorted as usual.
Snowing here too.
"I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it is the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope."
Oh yeah I remember now. I must watch that film again.
Oh, darn you're right : I've inadvertently put a spoiler !
To people who are going to watch Buffy for the first time : don't go into the New Era to begin thread because I used the death of a character to prove my point and didn't realize when typing that you could end up seeing it !
Same thing applies if you plan on watching Firefly, Lost and Cowboy Bebop. Oh, and also if you don't know that the Second Doctor dies in The War Games
Oh no! The Second Doctor dies in The War Games! Solamenn how could you?:p
Considering that Gallifreyan children are taken at the age of 8 to enter the Academy, in which they are submitted to what seem to be a traumatical event, I am not sure that the family ties are exactly like they are in our societies
Could you imagine handing over youngest Tiglet and telling her "Off you go sweetie, it will be fun : you'll see the raw power of time and space through the untempered schism and you can end up mad or run away. But don't worry, I'll probably see you for the holiday."
I'd nick a tardis and run away with her...or I'd find someone to nick one for me.
I've just checked the Radio Times and my day is now sorted. I am currently watching The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith on BBC HD followed by Planet of the Dead and its Confidential and then Waters of Mars followed by The End of Time Part 1 and then Part 2 and its Confidential
It will be the first time I've seen PotD in HD so I'm looking forward to that.
I've got another two weeks off but I haven't done any work yet and I really need to so sadly I'll have to try and read during it. I'm not sure how well that idea is going to go...

Not to detract from the real meaning of that ending, I do find those words very very fitting for how I feel right now.
According to the woman in PotD, it wasn't an accident that they went through the 'door'. So who opened it just as they were approaching? Another question to add to the list.

just watching PotD when she told the Doctor that she hears voices and knows that "someone is going to die..."
or is that just a double coincidental bluff?
don't watch to check RT incase I read something that I shouldn't!!
(I STILL haven't read the Chrissy edition of RT!! )
I thought that too Weedle and CC's note of who opened the wormhole. Perhaps the Timelords' presence is there since the beginning of PoTD and we just didn't realise. this is going to be really interesting.
And on another note, I'm so enjoying the Doc back to his carefree self...I knew I would enjoy this episode in hindsight as his last hurrah before everything went wrong.

I know that I will very much enjoy watching all the Specials back-to-back when I have received the boxset, to see the build up, the ties and links from episode to episode and to judge all that with the insight of knowing the ending of those specials.

Only thing of hers I've ever read was her dance on Stephen Gately's grave.
Only thing I ever will read. She's just a vile excuse for a human being.
I think "You two, with me, spit-spot" were his last lines. Not sure if that is the exact quote, but something like that.
yep - that was it - and in fact, he said that about 3 minutes ago.........
*baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah*
Thanks, not sure if it's been on yet as I had to leave the room for a bit. I hope it hasn't.

I'm not sure of the last scene but I'm sure I read somewhere that his last words were 'spit spot'.
Good list.
