I'll have a go later
Using Linux (and to a degree Kubuntu) helps score points in this test.
and im a girl.
Just a Geek i'm afraid. or ... i'm not sure!
Must try harder...;)
I blame the round on books. OK, so I'm well read! Hmph
And the round on gaming. Damn you Final Fantasy.
I thought it said 'Greek' then. That would've been more interesting - to know how much like Peter Andre/George Michael I am.
So did I, but I thought it would be questions about Plato and feta.
But at the end I ticked all 5 boxes for 'can you think of other things that could get you points'...
They only asked if you'd played Final Fantasy. I've never played it, but I did watch a walkthrough because the plot was good. I've also watched other game walkthroughs. Yume Nikki, for instance.
I edit TvTropes. Quite a lot.
I spend a stupid amount of time online. I'm trying to cut down though. I feel so... pointless not doing anything of any real virtue.
In terms of books- how dare they not mention Discworld? And they didn't give me a chance to proclaim my love for the obscure there either. China Mieville? The Chaos Walking trilogy. That and the fact that I really want to read some self-published books, as soon as I find a good way to get hold of them. (Self published authors need support. It's so much harder for them than self-published musicians.:()
I will confess to ticking boxes based on things I haven't done but am planning to do. For example, I really want to read Sandman so I gave myself the 'graphic novels' point.
But I remember laughing and going 'yeah!' when asked if I listen to music that nobody else ever listens to ever. Old School Visual Kei, increasingly various synth based musicians, Queenadreena who seem to repel potential fans like an upended magnet...
So... yeah. Not a geek in the traditional sense. I'm hopeless with advanced maths and computing, and when it comes to chemistry I can barely hold a test tube the right way up. I think I only count at all because of my love of bizarre things and lack of an active social life- and that last one is down to a mixture of Aspergers and the aforementioned love of bizarre things, which means I don't have much in common with many of the people in my year .:D
Most of my friends are either geekish guys or mildly eccentric girls. Which is what I was going for, so yay, go me.
Hehehe. Classy.
That seems too high too me!
