Girly cars

Over the last few weeks I have seen the most extraordinary girly cars - one bright pink, one with big purple swirling flowers, one with fairies flying around ... you get the pic ;)

Nothing against them (although I am a girl and have no fluffy dingly bits in my little motor thank you)

Would you / do you drive one? Have you made your car extra girly?

How long is it do you think, before we see a heart shaped radiator grill at the front or is there one already???

If not, someone is missing a trick :D:D:D

I don't think I'd be taken seriously on the road, which could be dangerous. It's kind of like how I don't wear pinky feathery boas to work...

Well, there is a market for them as girls and gays drive cars.

I think Mini cars are cute :o

When I played Sunday league football a team-mate turned up one day in his new car - a champagne pink escort cabriolet.

He spent the next 2 hours being called Lady Penelope.

Expressing your femininity to the world through a pink furry steering wheel cover is  and .

it's all the cuddly toys that girls pack onto the parcel shelf that make me laugh. i feel like taking pot shots at them with my air rifle as they drive past in the hope of winning one

    You should definitely try that.

If some girls just like or need their teddies around them, that's fair enough.

It's when it's done as a statement of girliness or kookiness that it's silly. I mean, who gives a shit?

What about on your person? :p

I've seen a few women driving Nissan Figaros, which I'd definately consider to be "girly cars", even if they're not pink.

    Isn't this one hideous.

My husband used to have an MX5 and he's definitely not a girl.

Mind you, he also had an XR3i Cabriolet at one point so maybe I should start to worry about him

I don't know why, but I always snigger at a guy below 60 driving one of these.

Actually, I'm lying, I went on a date with a fella with one once and he couldn't handle it..........the tiny car, not me.

I would doubt he has ever owned a hairdryer in his life, let alone used one.

He's actually quite a blokey man but has very girly taste in some things. He loves Lush, Desperate Housewives and would rather a glass of wine than a beer.

I would rather walk to everywhere than own a pink car or have girly accessories!!

Come to think of it, I've only driven SUVs in black or silver with leather interiors in boring black or tan...not gone close to prints or other fabric. I must be a man

:D I know a few of those! I'm telling you they do it to gather what they think is inside info on womankind!

I drive a purple Ka :D... However, I can't take men who drive them seriously. I feel horrible, but it just looks bizarre. One of my male friends drives a metallic green Ka and I only feel jealousy that my car isn't green :p. Further to this is a guy that my other half works with drives a pimped up Ka... Possibly the strangest modded car I have ever seen in my life!

I don't even know why men driving Kas looks strange to me... Were they marketed towards women when they first came out does anyone know?

I take back what I said about black and silver...the Ka and the Beetle only look fabulous in purple, green, yellow and every other gloriously cheerful color!
