Milmol - I too feel a bit meh about this series. I've enjoyed it, but am constantly aware that it's all very unreal.
It really lacks a set-up - the tasks/shallonges/whatever just appear from nowhere with no explanation of how or why. At the end there is no punishment/reward attached to them. We don't even know if the boys make a "profit" or if in any way their performance feeds on to anything.

I have preferred it to that last shambollic series of ze Restaurant

I think Gimpy was sampling those wines a bit too enthusiastically there.

I'm waiting for Raymond to tell us which cocktails would go best with the meal.

:) This is how Raymond Blanc should be. I want to erase the memory of last years nightmare they called "The Restaurant".

Why dont Tatty and Gimp ask him how the Winkers are getting on? At least James can cook.

They should have done mini-scotch eggs, some other sort of "picnic tapas" and a cocktail - Crazy Ray would have been delighted

haha "Listen guys, I know of two excellent people who may be able to help you with this task..."

I thought he was a tad harsh on them.. they did only have 30 minutes. Although I think James got a little too over excited.

If Masterchef contestants can cook for Michelin chefs this should be a doddle for Tatty.

How can he have never cooked a river fish before. Even I have done that.

He should keep to the brief as they will only question him about it if not. That's giving them ammunition.
