Dustin Hoffman played the title villain in the film "Hook" .
and Road To Perdition
If an actor was the protaganist - then he is the good guy for the audience, regardless of whether his character was "bad".
Tom Hanks was the protaganist - you are mean't to support him in the film, so I wouldn't count that as playing a bad guy.
Same for Leonardo DiCaprio in Catch Me If You Can.
We should be talking about real bad guys, designed for the audience to NOT support them during the movie.
EDITED: Hmmmn, maybe his Donnie Darko character is technically a bad 'un?
And surely bad in Point Break?
He did play a psychotic killer in A Good Night To Die
Amy Adams played Sarah Michelle Gellar's character in Cruel Intentions 2
