I just can't warm to her at all. She just seems really fake with all that grinning and that extremely annoying laugh. I think she's extremely lucky to be in the role she is. I just can't see her appeal at all.

I always liked Penny I found her funny and attractive bet Christine doesn't look as good at 50 - although some think she is 50 already where Penny could get away with lying about her age.
I've no idea what she's like personally but I found her highly irritating whenever I saw the One Show. She just keeps grinning inanely the whole time and has a very annoying laugh. The desperately awkward questions she was autocued to ask guests never helped either. As I could never stand the pair of them at 7pm in the evening, I doubt I'll ever be able to stomach Daybreak.

Personally I agree with the person who said that she doesn't annoy or impress me. I don't think she's a great presenter or anywhere worth the money she paid to do it. She (and AC) were presenting a light-ish frothy entertainment programme (with exception to AC's odd football programme) and now gone onto a programme that deals with - amongst other things - harder news topic and things going on in the world. I don't think it suits her, it definitely doesn't suit him.
