It occurred to me that most people probably think that they are more attractive than they actually are. It's a defensive mechanism of denial so that they can propagate their dna.
So are you actually a 4 when you think your a 7? and does it matter as long as you can spread your genes, ugly or not.

I find the opposite is true.
Mrs Teapot is spot on.
I think I'm a 7 but the men I have dated would say otherwise they think I'm a 9 or 10 if they subscribe to using numbers to rate women.

Well it's all relative isn't it, given the propensity with which male and female specimens who outsiders would universally agree were '1s' or even '0s' seem to habitually mix and spread their DNA.

I'm okay with it because i don't really do much with myself.
I have no real issues about it. I'm sure i'll become a hunk in a few years time if I put the effort in.
But theres nothing wrong with thinking your more attractive than you are. Hell it probably does make you more attractive due to confidence.
Also some people just have an "acting" face where your face seems to look a bit different sometimes.
But yeah, you'd be suprised what hair can do for a guy. Just a simple change of the hair and it could really change how they look.

Seriously, though, it's subjective so it's impossible to say. I could think that somebody was the most amazing looking person in the world and yet another person might think they were hideous. Different people find different things appealing.

Well except for Yankee accents but even then I think it's cool that they sound different than us.
But the sexiest ones in the world have to be British hands down for me.
