In one sentence they say its shocking that this product was ever released in this state. Yet they still give it 4/5
Any chance you could copy the text and paste it on here please mate? My work firewall wont allow me to view anything that shows up in their filters as "Games or Gaming"
cheers in advance

Not supposed to copy paste articles in their entirety so I've PM'd the review to you:)
Pretty rubbish review though. (3 1/2 stars out of 5)
It is quite negative but you have to read it to understand why. They do raise some concerns regarding the quest structure. This may not bother some but I think it is a concern.
Still, despite the concerns it managed to scoop an 8.8/10
What the bet this is just timed exclusive like with Fallout3, either way DLC been announced before the game is even released always puts a downer on things for me. I guess I will just wait the 12months and pick up the full version when the GOTY edition.

The summary reads:
Fallout 3 is a 97% game and New Vegas shares many of the qualities that made it one. It’s huge, it’s ambitious, it successfully blends a myriad of game elements together and it really feels like a game about you and the adventure you want to have. So long as you’re not expecting Fallout 4, you will get an enormous amount of enjoyment from it. 8.8/10
Fallout: New Vegas is still a fantastic game, only slightly held back by its increasingly outdated tech. Obsidian has created a totally compelling world and its frustrations pale into insignificance compared to the immersive, obsessive experience on offer. Just like the scorched scenery that provides its epic backdrop, New Vegas is huge and sprawling, sometimes gaudy, even downright ugly at times – but always effortlessly, shamelessly entertaining.
I think i will wait till after it is released to see if it is worth buying and even then i wont buy it until nearer Christmas when the price comes down.
well to be fair its only been out for a few hours in the States and they can only review what they've played so far so i'm gonna wait til the full reviews are out there cos there's no way they can judge it fairly this quickly. got mine on pre-order but after reading the dlc is for 360 only i had to change it from ps3 to xbox grrrrr

Never played any Fallout games before, but I assume they are good? Where is the cheapest place to pick up Fallout 3 for the 360?
Fallout 1&2 are isometric and completely different to F3 play-wise. they are also considered the best of the series. Fallout 2 is hard as nails:) but will run on an ancient PC without issue if you can hack the graphics (I can't stand the single column inventory and think the game is due a make-over) for the 360 Fallout 3 is the one you're after and, yes, it's brilliant.

So basically it has problems but the gameplay and story is enough to carry it through.

You can get the GOTY edition for the 360 for £15 on Amazon.
Has anyone had their FNV sent out from Shopto yet?
